Why should I become a member of the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette?

Since 1909 , the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette has been a partner with the greater Lafayette community and has grown with the support of its citizens. As a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) institution, the museum depends upon individuals, families and organizations who share in its vision. The art museum provides a vital contribution to the cultural life of the region by filling a niche that brings together those who believe in the power of art to inspire, challenge and entertain people of all ages. Members understand the critical role of the museum as it enriches the quality of life within the community with its vast collections, thought provoking exhibitions and dynamic programs for the whole family that serve our 14-county region. The art museum, therefore, is as much a service to the community as it is a part of it.

Your membership also helps ensure our exhibitions and educational programming are the finest possible, providing opportunities for the school age children of our region to regularly tour exhibitions and receive educational programming at no charge.
